Working with RWS Global as Show Director / Creative Consultant, I led the successful reimagining of the Bluey x CAMP immersive experience in Houston and King of Prussia. Bringing the beloved world of the Australian children's series Bluey to life, I collaborated closely with CAMP, BBC Studios, and our internal creative teams to ensure an authentic and engaging environment that delighted families and fans alike.

Key Experiences

  • Bluey's House Recreation: A meticulously designed 5,000-square-foot interactive space replicating Bluey's home, allowing guests to immerse themselves in the show's setting.

  • Interactive Play Zones: Guests participate in iconic games from the series, such as Keepy Uppy, Magic Asparagus, and Dance Mode, and explore features like a two-story pillow fort and a cardboard box castle with slides. 

  • Exclusive Content: The experience includes brand-new Bluey animations created specifically for this adventure, enhancing the storytelling aspect. 

  • Character Meet-and-Greet: Families conclude their visit with a memorable photo opportunity alongside life-sized characters of Bluey and Bingo. 

Key Contributions

  • Creative Oversight: Directed the adaptation of the immersive experience to fit the Houston venue, maintaining the integrity and charm of the original design with a new show flow.

  • Collaborative Development: Worked in tandem with CAMP's internal team and store staff to ensure brand accuracy and expose new employees to the world of immersive theater.

  • Show Direction: Led rehearsals for all actors, hosts, and costume characters to ensure brand accuracy while creating a positive learning environment.

  • Guest Engagement Strategies: Coached interactive and improvisational elements, including tailored moments for the local audience, that encouraged active participation, enhancing the overall guest experience.

Key Collaborators

  • RWS Global: Responsible for casting, hiring/onboarding, and company management.

  • CAMP Creative Team: Handled design, fabrication, and installation of the immersive elements.​

  • CAMP Store Team: Worked with the GM and all canteen staff to be able to support the show.

  • BBC Studios: Provided licensing and creative input to ensure the experience authentically represented the Bluey brand.
